Grown on private land in the mountains around California, our white sage is carefully picked and prepared by trained workers who hand tie each bundle one-by-one. It is incredibly important to our company that all of our sage is sustainably grown and collected - that is our #1 priority. Beautiful blue cotton string binds the leaves together to make our white sage smudge bundles ready for any cleansing & smudging. We work very hard to make sure the quality of our sage is excellent. We quality check every single piece of sage that we touch and make sure it is up to our standards before it reach your hands.

Burning sage — also known as cleansing — is an ancient spiritual ritual. Certain types of sage have antimicrobial properties and may provide additional benefits.

* When done correctly and respectfully, burning sage is completely safe and the effects last after the smoke clears. Be careful with sage when its lit. If you aren’t careful, burns and even fire are possible. Have water nearby. Never leave burning sage unattended. Make sure to put your sage bundle out completely after every use. Setting off smoke alarms is common. Consider this if burning sage in a public building. People with asthma and other respiratory conditions may be more sensitive to the smoke and have adverse reactions. Always leave a window open while burning sage. Inhaling smoke can be hazardous to your health.
